conjugal rights,
the great leveller,
negated when
purple-robed prince
swore allegiance
to his wife
and queen who,
resplendent in the
Robe of Purple Velvet,
forevermore  walks

            paces
                 ahead
of him.

  2. Hi Mary.... This was based on the British royal family where poor Phillip, being man of the house has to walk two paces behind Elizabeth but I think it is the same in any royal household. I just find it amusing in a sick kind of way that they will bump uglies and then in public he has to walk two steps behind lol...
