ReplyDeleteI would consider replacing "To finish the Comrades Marathon." with, perhaps, something a little more oblique, like "Is twenty-six miles away". Implying the marathon indirectly.
Thank you for the suggestion. I can see how an 'oblique' reference would make it more interesting.
